READ ALL Hello everyone, as you all (probably) know, I created Team Dragon, and have yet to start a project with you all. This is mostly because of two reasons: 1. It's a big commitment. Building a quality game takes time, and if we start on the project that I have in mind it will probably take between three to seven months (just a rough estimate). That's a pretty long time to spend on a game. Another thing is that it's very tiring to work on such a project because I must give people tasks as well as feedback. I must make sure the code can integrate properly. I must figure out what features are left in and what are left out, and I must make sure the game is fun. This is all quite difficult, especially in scratch. 2. I thinking of working on projects outside of scratch. Recently I have started learning C++, which has been fun. The thing is that it's hard to work on two things at once, and learning C++ has somewhat demotivated. Not because I don't like scratch any more, but because I want to build in and learn more about C++. So these are my reasons, which bring me to a question, how much do you want to work on this project? If you guys really want to work on this project, I'll take at least a partial break from learning C++, and will work on this project. However, even if you don't want to very much, I still want to make this project, even if it's many months or a year later. And thus if you guys don't care particularly about working on it now I'll take a few months off from scratch, and then start working on this project. In the mean time I could give management to someone else. Thanks for reading the whole thing. PS. If you guys want me to work on the project straight away I'll take a week to figure out the basic structure of the game including major features and the basic story and then set you all to work :). Please read and and give your opinion.
