"Love has no boundaries. At first I thought this was a good thing, until I slowly realized what it made you into..." (I am sorry for changing the heck out of your desing. But uh...I saw the potential and dedicided to make her an i c y dragon) Basic bio : Amore/Aypere Reasoning for Amore : She was born to a single father who loved his daughter very much. All that was left of his world was Amore, so she was the thing that he loved the most. Reason for Aypere : Means things like "moonstone" or "a piece from moon" in Turkish. Later on in her life, Amore dedicided to name herself Aypere. This helps her remind her of her SpaceFeather part(which she fights not to loose completely)and does sound more IceFeather. Amore is an adult female SpaceFeather and RiverFeather hybrid. Though, she lies to be part IceFeather instead of SpaceFeather, as this is the only way of being tolerated. Much about her identity and life are unknown, but some say that they have seen Amore selling jewely near the southern IceFeather borders. She is presumed to be located there, though switches locations every once in a while. But she is always somewhere that's warmer than avarage. WTAE (CW : Child abuse, injury, censored swearing) A male ParrotFeather bursted into the basement, his eyes locked on Amore. He was panthing, but didn't bother to rest. He slammed the door shut loudly. Amore turned to him, snarling. "Amore. We need to go now." he said in urgency. Amore froze for a moment. Go? To where? Why was the dragon who kept her in a basement for her entire life suddenly dediciding to get her out? "For what? You finally dedicided to give me freedom?" Amore hissed. The light orb between her antlers grew brighter. "They found out about you. They are coming for us. Amore, we need to get you out of here." he shouted. She could feel the panic radiating from him, and the fact that he was barely containing himself. "They WHAT?" Amore roared. She refused to belive his words. He was the one who kept her sealed away to protect her, and now he was the one who also got her caught. "You kept me in a basement for my ENTIRE life just to not have me caught, and now you are randomly telling me that you..." she started pacing around. No, no, no... This was impossible. This wasn't true. This couldn't be true. "WHAT THE (Redacted) DID YOU DO DAD? she was finally starting to snap. "HOW THE (Redacted) AM I SUPPOSED TO LEAVE?" she cried. She was almost sure that a group was sent to capture her, because she was a hybrid! Even better, part SpaceFeather! Her father breathed in slowly, ignoring Amore's snap. He didn't care about her reactions nor the questions. He just needed her to be safe and alive. "They will be sending the patrols tomorrow morning. We will leave now and fly over to the IceFeather territories." Then without waiting for a moment, he grabbed Amore. She gasped, then struggled to break free against his grip. But she was just a small, weak dragonet, and there was nothing she could do against an adult. He then quietly got out of the door, closed it, and took into the air. Amore's eyes widened. The outside world, the flowers, the river...everything...Everything she was kept away from, now suddenly all given to her. But she knew she couldn't stay with them, cherish them, try to get them back... "So this is what you stole from me..." Amore whispered to him, but he was too busy to hear. Hours passed by, but he never stopped, only sped up more. The ParrotFeather territory became a blur in Amore's eyes. She could hear the faint splash of dragons diving into the water, the sound of the wind, and the laughter that came from a few houses, possibly with actually happy families in them. She wanted to cry, but no...she wouldn't... She closed her eyes instead, and didn't want to think about the life she could have had. Eventually, Amore drifted off into sleep. When she woke up, it was freezing cold. She panicked, tried to cover herself, and attempted to fly away. But ofcourse, she couldn't. She hadn't even learned how to fly. "TAKE ME BACK." Amore shouted in panic. "I-I can't!" she started to shiver. "I-It's too cold! PLEASE." she tried to climb back onto his chest, but he pushed her away. "No, Amore. You will stay here." he whispered to her ear. She could see the determination in his eyes. "They will think you are an IceFeather." Amore was both confused, scared and furious. She tried to speak, but he didn't wait for what she was about to say. "There is an orphanage nearby. They will find you, and they will take care of you." Amore stood there. "No...I am...a SpaceFeather, not an IceFeather..." she snarled. "You might have erased everything about my mother, but you won't erase the her in me..." she hissed. Her father looked down, unfazed. "I am sorry for this. Forgive me..." (I am going to cut this part. Basicially, he "got rid of" Amore's antlers and leg spikes, which are SpaceFeather traits.)
Hours passed by. She stood there, trying not to cry. The pain had gone away, just like the beautiful, miniature star-like orb that was once between her antlers. He had left the second he was done. Gone. Without any apology. Without any help. Without a different way of keeping his daughter safe. She wasn't safe, she was shattered into pieces. Emptied. Torn from the last pieces that made her feel...hopeful...determined...free...and most importantly, Helped her to remember the memories before 'she' was also torn away from her. Hopeless. Hopeless hopeless... She tried to walk, but the wounds in her legs were too deep. The crystalline spikes had been torn off, and the already nasty wounds were deepened into gashes to prevent any dragon from realizing that there were supposed to be spikes. They stung awfully, but she didn't care about the pain. No...stay...alive... Walk. Run. Scream. Try. Amore tried to move again, but could feel her muscles giving up. She fell down again, hopeless. More hours passed by. She could feel her body slowly giving up...no...she wanted to stay alive. But...fate had different plans... There, she froze to death, drowning in her own hopelessness... Then, she woke up with her teeth bared into a snarl. (I apologize for my horrible transition and flashback writing lmao-) It was all a dream, a flashback, just...something to remind her why and how she ended up here, and to let her know that she needed to fight if she didn't want to start over again. "Another day..." Aypere mumbled to herself. She peeked her head out of the ice spike that she called home. An obscure town near the southern borders... Yes, this town was poor, barely had any security against the Dorizae and FrostHeart that appeared and attacked during the night, but it was free. She had her way of sustaining financial stability with her jewelyshop, and knew enough self defense to protect herself against the predatory beasts if she encountered them. She was NEVER going to be like that again... "Alright, today's first flight practice..." Aypere mumbled to herself. She took a few steps towards the flight balcohony. Could she do it? Probably... What if she fell down? What if it happened all over again? "NO." Aypere hissed to herself. She wouldn't be afraid. If she feared, she could never grow. She had to take a step... Without a second thought, Aypere threw herself out of the window. She started to fall without control, but would much rather die than to stuck as a flightless, emberrasing adult. She spread her wings wide, then ordered them to flap. First flap, didn't work. Second flap, her wings gave up halfway thought. Third flap, way too sluggish. Then... She lifted herself up into the sky. Finally, she was...flying...like a proper dragon. Aypere darted upwards, trying to rise up. At first, she was soaring. Then she felt her muscles giving up. Ofcourse...if a dragon couldn't learn to fly until they were five years old, the loss of wing muscle would start. There Amore was, fourteen, more than twice as old. She hadn't even left the treehouse until she was seven. And even then, it had taken her another four years to learn how to function like a proper dragon, which stupidly enough, didn't include learning how to fly before it was too late. Though, that wouldn't stop her. Aypere was a fighter. She stood hanging on the same spot for about fifteen minutes. Her entire body started to ache, but she tried. She really tried. Until it slowly became unbearable... Aypere was used to pain, but she knew straining her muscles would make it worse. So, Aypere dedicided to land. She was slightly disappointed at how short she stood. But she didn't want to loose control and fall right into the snow either. Then she started to fall... No, not yet. She wouldn't fall. With the last remaining bits of her power, Aypere kept her wings open, slowing her fall down. She had a few moments before she would plummet into the snow, and she reacted quick. She darted forward, pushed all her strenght into her legs, and prepared to balance herself the moment she hit the ground. It worked. Aypere forced herself to stand still. "...I...I can land..." she laughed. "Barely, but...I can fuction now..." she felt proud, and happy, a rare feeling for a dragon like herself. Even though she was still like a dragonet with the amount of experience she had, she was starting to heal, to grow, to leave behind a past where she was locked up away from freedom, where she couldn't choose what happened to her and was stripped away from a life where she could learn and make mistakes. For a moment, she had forgotten how her father held her captive, left her in the cold, mutated her and never taught her anything just to "protect" her. Since that moment, she had developed a neverending urge fight, to become independent, to never let anyone choose for her again. And now, she was slowly building an independence for herself, making sure it wouldn't happen again...
