꧁♦ Backstory ♦꧂ You walk into a cave, the supposed entry point for camp, and stare upwards into the cavernous ceiling, every surface reflects like a mirror. The reflections of you are warped into bizarre shapes as the reflective surface angles protrude, sending your head spinning. The cave is beautiful on every surface there's a new hidden carving into the shiny surface. The path divulges into four separate passages, and you walk down the third, uncertain of your path. As you approach the end of the tunnel, you notice the clear outline of three figures. On closer inspection the surface behind them is not a mirror, but thousands upon thousands of diamonds. “Hello!” a voice exclaims, catching you off guard. The people from the tunnel emerge from from the shadows. “We see you’ve found your way to camp.”says a girl. “Welcome to Diamond headquarters. I’m Juliet.” You notice her blonde hair is streaked with red highlights, as she combs her hand through it. “Welcome to our camp. ” says another girl. “I'm Aspen.” As you absorb every detail of your surroundings, you notice her backpack . The zipper is undone, and the bag itself is stuffed with what appears to be pages upon pages of paper. The third speaks. Fae say “Follow us toward the bunk rooms. I'm Chloe,” Xey take a sip from a cup of steaming hot raspberry tea. “We’ll be your counselors this session.” The three lead you down another path. The contents of Aspen's bag fall to the floor, like snowflakes. As you kneel down to pick them up, you notice that they are beautifully written poems and songs. You smile and run over to the girls. They turn around. “Sign your name here, so we know who’s arrived.” Aspen announces. “Once everyone has arrived, we’ll give you the rundown.” Says Juliet. “If you need anything, or have any questions, just ask!” Chloe states. “Library’s over there. It has a tea kettle!” The three walk away, leaving you with the other campers.
