Some quick sketches of how I think Deep Cut would have looked like as kids. This is before they became friends in middle school, so I like to think that this was in their late elementary years, like 5th or 6th grade depending on their school. I think conversations between them and their parents would have gone something like this: Frye: "We have guests coming over, Frye." "Is it that shark girl again? You always try to get me to talk to her. Wasn't her name, like, Bite or something?? It's a dumb name if you ask me." "Her name is Shiver, Frye. Change out of those clothes, you need to be wearing something more formal." "I don't even care about any of them." "Fine. You're merely embarrassing yourself." Shiver: "Shiver, we need to get going. I know you're bonding with your shark, but we also need to keep peace between the clans. We don't want to have a war like the ones long ago." "His name is Master Mega, mom. Also, I'm already in my kimono." "All right then, let's go!" Big man: "Um...what? how--" "Big man! It's time to go!" "Dad, are you sure Frye's and shivers parents are nice?" "We've been over this, they're nice." "Get in the car." To be honest, I think Shiver would be much more obedient towards her parents even though she is part of the Anarchy Splatcast. Frye seems like a more rebellious kid while Big man is the one being really cringe.
