However, file history shows an increasing number of unexplained changes after the lead developer’s last confirmed commit. In-game logs reference a derelict facility called SENTINEL-3, where “The Varnyx Event” wiped out all power and corrupted every AI unit inside. The player controls Unit L-UX, a prototype robot with partial memory loss, navigating in near-total darkness with only a faulty flashlight module. The most unusual mechanic - every time the player enters a new sector, the game flashes the level into full light for less than one second. Code analysis reveals these flashes aren’t scripted; they are generated in real time by a non-player routine labeled “Pulse Core Heartbeat”, which cannot be removed from the build. Developer notes (heavily corrupted) suggest the “Pulse Core” is an in-game location, but reverse engineering shows that its map data changes dynamically based on... something in the player’s local environment. Several testers reported the lights flickering in their own rooms when the flash occurred. One tester’s last bug report ended mid-sentence: “I think the factory isn’t empty.
