Hi! So the real info is here so if you want to know, continue reading! 1. How to become a Scratcher: When you’re still a new scratcher, you’re more likely to have less followers than a Scratcher, because you’ll be considered inexperienced. You have to prove yourself. To become a scratcher, you need to like projects, create at least 4 projects, join contests, talk to people, go on forums and join in on as many social activities on scratch as possible. Scratch will see this as being engaged, so you’ll become a scratcher much faster. Another important thing is your username, make catchy, funny, or interesting, and you’ll be more memorable 2. How to get views on projects: On scratch, people tend to go and see other projects to look for inspo, so it’s important to make yourself seen on scratch. One technique is typing add anything in your search bar, and going in studios where you’re free to add anything! People often go in those to find diverse projects. Don’t make your projects too long or too complex. Have a theme that raises opinions and makes people talk about you. Another way is to remix a project, but completely change the code and make it a thousand+ times better than the original. Keep in mind that there probably is a particular studio for your type of project, wether it’s about music, video games, dressups, books, movies, artists, religion, TV shows etc. so always look that up. 3. How to be liked on scratch: If you have something mean to say, just don’t say it, and if someone’s being mean on scratch, quietly address the problem by reporting the person in question. If you like a project comment something encouraging, and if someone comments on a project or on your profile, always reply, it creates a good reputation. Another great way to get liked is to go on forums and help people out. Feel free to ask questions too if you have any! Seeming too perfect might attract unwanted jealousy. 4. How to become a curator: If it’s a themed or niche studio, add your projects about the subject to studios, and be very active and important in the community, you’ll eventually be invited to curate or even manage a studio (another way to appear active is to create other studios and invite people from other studios into it). 5. How to have followers: One great technique to have followers is to comment f4f (follow for follow) which just means that you follow the person and in return they follow you. Don’t come off as too arrogant, like letting others follow you, but follow no one, or act like your too cool, and create contests just to be your (favorite follower or best follower). Just create cool projects, organize fun contests, and interact with other fellow scratchers. 6. How to be liked even more: If you have real life friends on scratch, create a collaboration account. You’ll be able to do so much more together. If you talk about the account frequently on your separate accounts. 7. Coding: Don’t make your project too long, and remember that scratch is about coding and learning, so focus on that and having fun instead of wanting to become super popular. Cool projects and good coding is how you’ll get popular! Now I’m not super popular, but I have picked up a few things while on scratch, so I hope you enjoyed these tips and use the wisely! Yours truly,
