So... I added more to it. A LOT. But it turned out good.. RIGHT? ~Bio~ Name - Bat Cat Gender - Male Personality - Silly (Info: * = italisized, [ / ] = thoughts) ~Backstory~ "He was supposed to be a *circus* clown, not a ghost capturer.." A voice said, cutting the the darkness of my vision. "Yet he does so good.. Is he alright?" Then, silence. Wait. Not *silence*. More like.. Ringing in my ear silence. I woke up. I was in a circular room. To my left, balloons stared back at me with creepy faces connected to a party table covered in red, green, and white checks. Christmas, much? The multi-colored balloons bobbed up and down with the wind from the vent that just *had* to be right behind the balloons. To my right, two dogs were looking at me. One of them was a dalmatian with cold brown eyes. The other one was dark brown with a chestnut muzzle and underbelly with unsettling green eyes. "He's awake! Call Xdasho!" The dalmatian barked. [ I have heard that name before.. But where? ] "Who?" I ask, my eyes still adjusting to the dimly lit room. Just then, *she* stepped in. Beautiful gray dappled on perfectly silk white fur, with snowy blue eyes. "Ahh, Zien has awoke. Welcome to the Circus of No Escape." The cat purred. "I am Xdasho." The cat meowed. "Well, you already know my name." I replied, earning a soft chuckle from the otherwise bully-looking dogs. [ She just said Circus of *No Escape*. What.. WAIT. ] My eyes widen. "Wait, why did you say-" I begin. Xdasho immediately interrupted. "These are my min- Er, *servants*, Michael-" she gestured to the dalmatian. "And Serenity," she gestured to the dark brown and chestnut dog. I nodded, then opened my mouth to speak. "He has fangs?!" Micheal asked as something akin to a squeak came out of his mouth. "No, duh. He is a Bat Cat. He will.. do *well* in our.. *lessons*." Xdasho said as she flicked her tail back and forth - a motion that seemed to hypnotize anyone who stared for too long. I raised an eyebrow, gulping down my fear that threatened to consume me and acted nonchalant - leaning back on the chair I had woken up in. "And what do you mean by these.. 'Lessons'?" I ask. "You'll find out." Xdasho replied with a sound that was mix of a hiss and a laugh. [ What the *swish* does she mean by that? ] Michael and Serenity grinned widely - in sync. And that somehow made everything even more eerie. I felt a chill trickle down like water on my spine and I gulp down my fear again as Micheal and Serenity push me to follow Xdasho, who was already a few yards away from us. [ Why did I wake up here? What am I doing here? What happens next? ] One could never know. [ It could end it two ways. Nope. Think optmistic thoughts, Zien. I'm doomed. ] .... I smile at the crowd before me. I pull a tiny drape over me, and remove my paw from it. All the animals in the crowd - cats and dogs - gasp as the drape circled around me, the gems glittering in the candelit tent, bringing me into the air. I gallop around, making funny faces, and yelling out jokes. "What do you call a doorknob that has been taken out of a door? A vacant knob!" I chuckle, though I know it isn't funny. It's just.. cringe. Yet, everyone laughs. I strike poses, sticking out my tongue. "What do you call a soul that has vanished? A ghoul!" I exclaim, my laughter ringing out. [ Honestly, my laughter is probably making them laugh as well. Not these PUNS of a joke. ] I gently lower down onto the stage, grinning at the crowd who had finished laughing. "I would like a volunteer, please!" I called. A puppy raised her paw. A small bulldog. "Me, me!" She gasped. I smirk. "Come on down. Tell us your name!" I meow. I watch as the puppy nodded. "Millie," she barked sweetly as she *waddled* her way towards me. "Aww," came a sound from everyone in the crowd. "Well, hello there, Millie. I am Zien." I nodded, smiling warmly at her. "Stand right there.." I said, motioning to the great big x in the middle. Millie obeyed, eyes wide with curiosity. "Now.. You have to give the command. You might not get it on the first try, though. Say, 'Wind, blow'!" I smirk. The crowd didn't notice the button that was colored to be the ground design, which was carpeted a purple color. Neither did the crowd notice that my front paw was hovering over the button, because of the drape that covered me - and still danced around me. "Wind, blow!" Millie said in a soft (but still able to be heard) voice. I pressed the button. Suddenly, a wind gust whipped around the crowd, which raised a collective sigh. It was hot outsid, and the wind made everything better. "I want wind.." Millie frowned. "Do not worry." I said, voice smooth as velvet. "All you have to do is say, 'Blow on me'!" I add. "Blow on me!" Millie replied. I pressed the button twice. A gust of wind blew into Millie and me. Millie and I grinned. Who couldn't? It was, after all, a breeze on a hot, summer day. Enjoy~
[] Notes [] Wait, why does he look like he would be a part of a circus? WAIT. An Idea has sparked in my last braincell (XD). I know EXACTLY what I should do for the backstory... Don't ask why I said "swish", lol. [] Credits [] @Little_Cat_Meow for the original character, Bat Cat.
