(Space/click) I been finally able to play RON again with my new laptop, and been practicing. It has changed quite a bit, and I'm trying to get used to it all. This was one of my enjoyable rounds. I managed to get as fairly decent economy, was almost totally self sufficient, and reached nukes much earlier then I usually get them. It was insane, the Japan player spent 4 hours building a nuclear power house, while South Africa and the Maurya Empire also stocked up on nukes. So as you could imagine, the world kinda burned........ Except for the peaceful slightly* nationalist Hawaiian Imperium. I deeply thank everyone in this server, it was truly a blast(literally lol) Things I achieved: >Managed to quickly build a decent economy via both internal and international trade. >Created a colonial empire starting with a small/weak country. >I LITERALLY ALMOST DIED THE MOMENT I JOINED, Maurya's troops were literally beginning to land on Hawaii until peace was made with the Austrians(who somehow we were their puppets or something) Saving my skin by mere seconds. >Extremely stable country, with a nice flow of consumer goods, rapid development. 0 corruption(I sorta crack down on the smallest form of corruption...... Firing any corrupt leaders the moment they show signs) >Restored the Hawaiian monarchy as a constitutional monarchy, however the official ideology was nationalism and on the way to becoming Fascist. >Got nuke research done faster then I normally do, tho getting the resources to produce the bombs was harder/longer. >Fixed the Israel - Palestine dispute, the holy land rightfully belongs to Hawaii :) >Brought Pineapple flavored FREEDOM to the middle east, and totally not for the oil. >fixed California's homelessness problem with good old fashioned nuclear bombs :D >Survived nuclear armageddon >About 50% tech advancement. I would have kept going if it had not been 3 AM........ I would have further grown both my navy and air force to become comparable to the other powers, use Madridian + Dominion tactics. But it was getting late, and what I won was good enough for meh.
