Hello fellow Narnia lovers! I will be answering a few questions about the fandom with my personal opinion, I hope you enjoy. Key: CoN = Chronicles of Narnia, OC = original character Answered by: @Myface2 (Me) 1. Q: How many books about Narnia have you read? A: All of them. Ah they are so good! (Upon rereading this question, it may be asking about fanfics, so I must clarify I've read the Chronicles of Narnia in its entirety) 2. Q: What is/are your favorite book(s)? A: TLWW is classic, Voyage of the Dawn Treader is really good and Last Battle was great ending. Honestly they are all great. 3. Q: Mice or beavers? A: Beavers for hospitality, mice for nobility. 4. Q: What tree would you be (dryad question)? A: Birch, Beech, Elm or Holly. 5. Q: Favorite character(s)? A: Ahhh they are all so good! Well, Aslan, ofc, Pevensies, Caspian and his family, Cor and Corin, Puddleglum, Trumpkin, Reepicheep, Tirian, Jewel, Eustace, and basically everyone <3 6: Q: Create a group of 5 friends (can't include Aslan!): A: (I'm assuming this is outside of time limits?) - Me :) - Caspian - Rilian - Lucy - Eustace (once he's nice) 7. Q: What places from CoN world would you like to visit the most? A: Cair Paravel, the Archenland Castle, the wilderness (in safe times), some of the islands 8: Q: How old was you when first read/listened to CoN? A: Oh, very young, I can't even remember <3 9: Favorite Narnia quote(s)? A: OH no, this is wayyy too hard to decide. A: Lucy, but I love all four of them veryyyyy much <3 11: Q: Have you read The Narnia Code (a book by Michael Ward)? A: No, I might look into it though. 12: Q: What's your favorite group/duo of the characters? A: Ahhh, either the OG group from TLWW or the Dawn Treader group. 13: Q: The White Witch or the Snake Queen from The Silver Chair (And do you think they're the same person)? A: Snake Queen's character is very cool, I like her (character design wise) a lot, but I don't at all believe them to be the same person since Aslan killed Jadis. 14: Q: How did you feel after the last book? A: It is such a beautiful ending. Sometimes I reread the last part on it's own because of the beautiful descriptions. Truly, so amazing and beautiful. 15: Q: Which Narnia book that hasn't been adapted to a movie do you think would be an awesome movie? A: SILVER CHAIR! Ah they robbed us by not making it a movie! Just imagine how wickedly cool that would be! 16. Q: What's your favorite and least favorite chapter in a Narnia book? A: I would be a commoner human living in Narnia :3 28: Q: What CoN character are you most like? A: Too hard of a question sorry. I see myself in so many. 29: Q: If you could live in Narnia world for 1 hour, when, where and what would you do? A: Cair Paravel in the Golden Age, speak with the Pevensies and other characters, and enjoy the views. 30: Q: Your favourite CoN creature? A: Dryads probably. Ran out of space so continued beneath the credits! VVV
Thank you so much @GentleStorm (and @Flowersong18 on 10-16) for these questions! C.S. Lewis must be credited for the textual masterpieces he made. I am so grateful. Music: Where No One Goes (How To Train Your Dragon) VVV CONT. of questions above: 31: Q: What do you think about Susan? A: I love her and wish her all the best and wish for a revival of her faith. 32: Q: What in CoN intrigues you the most? A: The many parallels to faith and beautiful descriptions/messages found in the books. 33: Q: You have found queen Susan's horn, what will you do? A: Hold onto it until I am in dire need, or gift it to someone who truly needs it. 34: Q: What do you think was the best way going to Narnia? A: Closet. Simple, good location, classic. Though being pulled back because someone needs me also sounds pretty fun, especially if I expected to be going to school and instead got to go to Narnia instead. 35: Q: Do you have a favourite Narnia joke/meme? A: I love the understanding that forms between people who have been to Narnia, it's not really a joke but it's like an inside joke that is so cool to experience. 36: Q: Have you ever dreamed about Narnia? A: Daydream? Obviously. Night dream? Most likely. I dream a lot and Narnia is such an integral part of my reading life. 37: Q: Favourite scene(s) from Narnia books and movies? A: Every scene is amazing, but I love when Eustace is a dragon. Also when the Pevensies talk about Narnia in the real world. And any scene with Aslan. Also DEFINITELY the last scene in the Last Battle. Such beautiful writing. 38. Q: Least favourite scene(s)? A: Shift. Again. Hate having to read about him (but once again, his character is important and I would keep him in the story). 39. Q: Favourite thing they changed in the movie? A: Honestly, there is nothing very great they changed, when they stuck to the story it was awesome. 40. Q: Least favourite thing changed? A: Warning! I am extremely passionate about this so bear with me. Basically the entire Prince Caspian movie. SUSPIAN!??!?! Ughhh it's so bad like literally I don't want to hear it. Caspian fell in love with a star. There was zero romance in the books and it is just so wrong on so many levels. Peter and Edmund fighting with Caspian saying that they are better than him because they were kings and that they should have more power!??! Literally the first thing Peter said to Caspian was, “I haven't come to take your place, you know, but to put you into it.” So that was stupid. And bringing the Jadis back to tempt Edmund? News flash, she's dead. Aslan killed her. You can't just bring back spectral visions of her to drive the plot. The whole movie changed so much that made it so much worse. Still, I love the movies overall <3 41: Q: Favourite Pevensie gift, and what would you like to be given (can be something else!) A: Probably Susan's gift because they are so useful and I love archery. I would probably like the healing vial since it would be most useful to me and my skill set. 42: Q: If you were doomed to spend your whole life on one of the islands from Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which one would you choose? A: Doorn because it is very pretty and I'm sure a much nicer place once Caspian took over. Otherwise maybe I would hang out with the Duffers, but that would probably get lonely. 43: Q: Fauns or Dryads? A: Dryads in general, but love both. 44: Q: What Narnia scene would you like to see with your own eyes the most? A: The end of the world with lilies and sweet water and the wall of water before Aslan's land. 45. Q: Shasta or Corin? A: I love my boy Corin, but Cor is a bit more level headed, so I'll go with Cor. 46. Q: What do you think about the new Narnia movies coming out with Netflix A: I'm really excited to fill in the movie gaps, but I think it'll be hard to get as good of a cast as we had before. Also if they change too much it might suck so I hope they make it original yet follow the books. 47. Q: On scale 0-10, how much do you like CoN? A: 10 (or if I could, 1000000 out of 10, I love CoN) 48. Q: What question(s) would you ask Lewis? A: How could you find the inspiration to write such excellent books that are such good symbols of the faith? 49. Q: Do you know all the symbolism of CoN? A: Yes, in fact I did a personally led study of the symbolism, reading the whole series with the special task of analyzing and enjoying the symbolism. I am an expert in the symbolism. 50. Q: Are you a Christian? Did CoN helped you to know God better? A: Yes, a Catholic in fact! Yes absolutely. Beautiful parrels and good works to reflect on and to draw close to God. That's all! Thank you for reading! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Tags (ignore): #Narnia #Chronicles_of Narnia #Lewis #Questions
