Hi. Today Im going to be talking about scratch studios. And not the usual ones, Im talking about the ones that are like the invitation-only studios. Now please note that Im NOT targeting any singular studio in particular as there are quite a number of studios which do this. Now don't get me wrong, Im not saying that people should not do 'invitation-only' studios, Im saying that its wrong for a studio which is invitation only and then start doing events and fun things. And the invitations are only going toward the more 'well-known' scratchers which is completely UNFAIR. And particularly if your friends with scratchers that are more 'well-known' than you to be a part of this and you start to fell left out. Although this has not happened to me before, I have seen this happened quite a few times and that is wrong. THAT is not what scratch is about. And especially if people are going inactive or taking a break from scratch which is fine and the only people left are scratchers who are a part of these 'invitation-only' studios which host events that you wish that you can be a part of. BUT YOU CANT. which is really unfortunate. Scratch is about creating communities and sharing your project with the online world and it is NOT a place to be excluding other scratchers.
