﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋ ✰ Welcome one, welcome all to the Extension Requests project of Scratch Design Camp's August 2025 session! If you'd like to request any amount of extra time for any SDC activities, please take a read through the guidelines below on how to format your request. ﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋ ✰ Extensions are granted on a case-by-case basis, and should be requested as soon as possible to allow time for further discussions where necessary. We recommend that you post your request at least 24 hours before the activity is due, as although this is not strictly enforced, there is a significantly higher chance we'll be able to get to you before the deadline. Extensions should only be requested due to unforeseen circumstances—with that being said, an extension will most likely not be granted provided you have clearly had a sufficient amount of time until said activity is due but instead chose to not complete it until later. This is quite a blurred line, however, so don't hesitate to post your request and we can discuss from there. ﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋ ✰ Extensions for dailies will not ever be granted due to their relatively short timeframe and low point value (Of course, you are more than welcome to revisit missed dailies through the Records Forum for minutes ;D). An exception would be for bi-dailies, provided you were to miss the second day and had already completed the first half of the activity. What counts for extensions: - Bi-Dailies - Weeklies - Memory Book Cover Contest - Design Competition ﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋ ✰ Request Form: Name of activity // How much extra time are you asking for? // Reason Example: Weekly #3 // 4 Hours // I was notified this morning of a day trip we'll be taking out of town. I should be able to complete the remaining parts of the weekly offline as all I have left are written sections, but I won't have access to the Internet to submit it until after midnight UTC. If you are unsure about the number of the weekly you are requesting an extension for, a simple description (e.g. "Sticker Pack Weekly" for Weekly #1) works just the same. ﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋ ✰ If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask in the comments below or on a host's profile! Happy designing ;D ﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋ ✰ Credits: - SWC and other camps for the initial concept of Scratch camps and the extension policy - Summer , Encryn , Quasi , and Yume for hosting this session - Music: LOONA/HeeJin - ViViD ﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋﹋ ✰
