ALRIGHT BACKSTORY/LORE!! The once-thriving city lived in harmony with the gods, they prayed to Gleepus and she answered, blessing cats and granting wishes. After a while, the cats of the city began forgetting to sacrifice to the gods. Gleepus began to fade, having no one to remember her. Enraged by being forgotten, Gleepus stormed down to the city and wreaked HAVOC. The surviving cats fled into the jungle, reconnected with the gods, and became the Jungle Tribe. They will NEVER dare to forget to thank the deities again. Much later, after the city fell, something rose. The goop that clings to Gleepus's body—some was left behind. The Goop is a sentient creature, a shapeshifter. It holds to Gleepus in a symbiotic relationship: she gives it nutrients, and it will work for her. When she crashed the selfish city, some Goop was left in her wake. It awakened and built vessels out of the passed mortal cats and rubble from the ruins. The new species—zombie cat goop things—only goal is to keep the city running. Not the actual city, but the fauna and species thriving in the scrap.
