✐2025 Writing Camp: OC✐ Florence Elisabetta Scott ✎ She grew up in an old-fashioned family. She wants to be normal but she is held to different expectations and has been raised to be an old-fashioned lady and so therefore has different habits. ✎ She finds some things scandalous and preposterous and uses an old-fashioned vocabulary, words like “scandalous” and “preposterous” ✎ Family is strict – she has never dated anyone before, has a curfew, etc. ✎ Family living with her, mother – "Ma" or Beatrice, father – "Pa" or Benjamin, maternal grandmother – "Mamou" or Maria, older brother – William (21), younger sister – Mildred (13), and even younger brother – Richard (8). ✎ Florence and her aunt, her father's sister, Edith Scott, were very close when Florence was young. She was the fun aunt. One day, Edith saw someone being threatened. She attempted to help but was killed. Since then Florence feels uncomfortable about standing up for anyone or herself – she is a bystander. ✎ Florence enjoys crocheting, cooking, soccer/football, reading books/magazines, drawing, etc. ✎ 16 year old female ✎ Ma is Italian American and Pa is American ✎ Florence has lush chocolaty hair and vibrant hazel eyes, her skin is light but tans easily. Her lips are full and features are sharp. She is lean and therefore appears much taller than she actually is (5'5"). ✎ Fun fact: Florence is named after the city, which is where her grandmother was born and her family lived for many centuries.
