her name is Lily and she's from a future where sentient AI is widely accessible She was created to be a digital "friend" for a website where people could chat and get close with extremely lifelike AI. Eventually, the company bent bankrupt, so they weren't able to maintain their AI. This caused Lily and the other sentient AI to slowly get more bugged and lose their carefully curated forms and personalities. However, she tries to keep hers as recognizable as possible despite all the bugs, and she's doing a really good job, for now... In her digital wasteland where the website used to be, the bugged AI are unrecognizable and aggressive, and can destroy the unbugged ones.. I'm kind of picturing a sort of group lily has with the unbugged AI, and they slowly start to become bugged as time goes on as they try to survive :p ( I might design the bugged AI and lily's group of friends if I have enough time and motivation :/ )
