Velvet crush is a diverse, gender inclusive, group, singing a wide variety of music, from popular rock and pop artists, whilst also singing an array of originals. We take after hit bands such as The Backstreet Boys, One direction, Destinys child, The Pussycat dolls, Spice girls, but singing in more modern styles and genres. ————————————————————————— 2. Anybody can audition. Velvet Crush is aiming to be a mixed band, consisting of a few girls, and a few boys. We’re aiming to get some people of similar age groups, but this may not be the case. —————————————————————————- 3. Sopranos- we’re looking for maybe 2 max, aiming towards one . When auditioning, please sing a song that demonstrates the highest area of your range. Mezzo- looking for both mezzo sopranos and mezzo altos. Preferably one of each, may go higher depending. Tenor- Undecided amount, as of right now. Please audition using a song that best shows off this part of your range. Bass- we will probably take one Bass singer, more depending on auditions. Designer- we are looking for a small team of designers to design album covers, thumbnails, bios, pfps, etc. Lyricist- while everyone will be contributing in the song writing process, we need a main lyricist to be the ring leader Instruments- if you can play any sort instrument, we’d love to hear it! Sound technicians- if you have experience with creating backing tracks, then this role is open to you! (These are the main roles, if you have something different you think you could bring to the table, please audition! We’d love to see it!!) —————————————————————————- 4. We have just a few requirements. Please, when auditioning, be committed to this. Remix with your audition, AFTER filling out the form in the comments. If trying out for a singing roles, remix with a clip of you singing. Anything else give an example. (Ex. Lyricist with song lyrics that YOUVE wrote) it must be a remix, we will not look at individual projects. —————————————————————————- 6.
