You are a wizard exploring a dungeon full of monsters and you are not yet advanced enough to cast your own spells. Instead you use rocks engraved with runes to set them up. When you reach the ladder post your score in the comments. I hope to keep working on this game, if you have any things you think I should add tell me. (this is my biggest game yet, 2000+ blocks) ________Controls (important)______ - arrow keys to move the player - drag a rune to move it and place it on it's place -- Blue runes need a rune on the inner ring to place. _________How To Play (important)_________ The goal of this game is to get through the dungeon to the ladder tile as efficiently as possible without dying to an enemy, different runes take up different amounts of your score with the attack taking the most and the skip taking the least. --- The red runes are sensors (if statements) --- The blue runes are actions / spells -- killing enemies give you points -- moving subtracts points -- using runes subtract points - See runes section for more info Enemies can attack if they are within one tile of you. The rune system operates on a circular clockwise order starting at 12 o'clock and ending at 11. The game will scan clockwise starting at 12 until it finds an unused rune (after a rune is activated it wont work any more) that fits the criteria of it's if statement, then it will run any runes on the outer layers (blue dots) ________Runes________ All runes vaguely look like what they do. - Red square = if there is an enemy within a 2 tile square of the player - Red cross = if there is an enemy on the same X or Y level of the player - Blue square = fill an area within 2 tiles of the player with magic that kills enemies. - Blue dash = do nothing, used to wait a turn so you can gather more enemies in one attack spell.
