This project goes a tiny bit deep into how Griffpatch, the most well-known Scratcher in the world, got famous. (This is included in the project but I'm experimenting with tags so don't read what's below until after the project) Tags: Griffpatch started coding when he was a kid in the 1980s on a computer called the BBC Micro. He was writing simple games and messing around with code back then- way before Scratch existed. He joined Scratch in 2012 (as an adult), mainly to help his son learn to code. But once he started creating projects, he became super active and quickly gained attention for his advanced games. One of Griffpatch's first big hits was Paper Minecraft- a full-on 2D Minecraft game made completely in Scratch. It had crafting, mobs, health, hunger... and it actually worked! People couldn't believe something this good was made on Scratch. It quickly became one of the most played Scratch games in History.
