in the minutes after leaving this cat at the border, Cassie couldn't stop thinking about her. she was intriguing in a way nobody Cassie had ever met before was. she didn't know how to feel about that, but the conversation had surely been small talk. she didn't /want/ to think about it. she tried to force this other cat out of her mind. she had goals now, a group to serve. yet she just couldn't. however much Cassie didn't want to admit it, she was a child at heart. and she loved talking to others as a child.
