To have even a chance at becoming a leader, your cat must have mentored at least one apprentice. If you are an apprentice, you will be assigned a mentor - however, if you find your mentor is inactive, please alert me and I can find you a new one. Mentors are allowed to create a project for training, which can have all lessons roleplayed in those comments.
