Tw: yelling and arguing
THURSDAY I wake up at about 5am, with Woodchip on my lap. I heard my dad chattering off on the phone downstairs, again. But then I hear Josh start trying to talk to him. At first, dad just brushes him off, but then Josh starts yelling. I jumped out of bed and creep down the stairs. Dad apparently hangs up and he and Josh get into a full screaming match. I don't know what started it but Josh is yelling about how Dad never has time for us anymore, and Dad is yelling over him and trying to deflect. I'm sitting there, behind the railing on the stairs, when dad tells Josh to go to his room. I scramble up the stairs while Josh yells a couple of insults before storming off. I manage to fall asleep. I'm back in the forest, running inbetween trees, jumping over mossy rocks, and landing in a small creek. It makes me happy when these dreams happen. And its a nice steady flow of euphoria before I wake up again. I get ready and leave without talking to either Dad or Josh. I get on the bus and take note that Autumn isn't here. This is going to be a great day. End of chapter
