As KawTheScratcher asked how I did my Newtons Cradle project I thought I would remix his Newtons Apple project and try to explain a little. See inside for a brief explanation.
A falling object has speed. The mass of the object doesn't change the speed or the rate of acceleration unless you start to consider wind resistance. The velocity (speed) increases as it falls. When it hits a surface the velocity should be reversed. The more bouncy the object, the more velocity will be returned to the object.
