Backstory: (Info; * = italisized, [ / ] = thinking) The sun emerged victorious over the endless meadows, casting golden hues on the small village that had settled in the plush grass. Birds flew by, weaving stories with the sound of their chirps and the beat of their wings. Wildflowers danced and leaves flutter along, creating a sound that seems like water. Horses grazed, though keeping a cautious eye on their foals, who chased each other through the grass. The scent of pie skipped through the air like joy, if joy could be a smell. I took in a deep breath, a smile already growing on my face as I trot along the roads of Meadowdew. I hum a random tune as I stop at a big hole. This hole was made by a gray and lilac colored meteor, and though it hadn't destroyed any homes, it had disturbed nature. Rocks folded over each other like a landslide, and a few flowers and weeds jutted out of the soil. Suddenly, a soft groan came from the pile of rubble. I tensed, the spikes on my back straightening. "Uhm, hello?" I ask. A strangled meow replied, "I.. Am present. Please help me." I skid down the slope, prying away rocks as fast as I could. My claws raked against rocks, and it sounded *horrible*. Finally, a mix of white and lilac fur appeared within the rocks. I grunted as I pull on it. "That is my hind leg, you now." The voice sounded monotonous, yet the slightest amount of something akin to joking was barely imperceptible in her voice. "You're stuck under who-knows-how-many-rocks." I reply, a small smirk playing on my muzzle. "You have made a good point." The she-cat said. I chuckle, pulling harder on her paw. I land on my rear with a small *oof*, and standing before me was a lilac, white, and gray colored fur. Roses and some type of wheat splay out like accessories, and she has leopard spots on her back, ear, and face. And her eyes - Wait, is she *blind*? "Are you blind-" I ask awkwardly. "I am not blind." The she-cat replied. "I am Peach Cream, what's your name?" I ask, blinking. Silence. "I... Do not remember." She meowed softly. I stare at her, bewildered. "What do you mean? You don't remember your *own* name?" I ask, the shock clearly evident in my voice. "I have *been forgotten since I.." She trailed off. (* she whispered that under her breath) "Since you what?" I ask, curious. "I have been forgotten.." She meowed. [ What?! ] I stare at her, and I promise you, there was a loading sign in front of my head. "I'm sorry, but *what*?!" I yowled. "I have Fallen and I have been Forgotten." The she-cat meowed, voice filled with sorrow. "Like, you fell from the havens?" I ask, raising a brow. "I was once a great deity." She replied. "So, a God." I conclude. The she-cat nodded. "Okay, so you somehow got into this rubble -" I started, trying to make sense of what was happening. "I *crashed* into the ground," she corrected. "Okay, so you were a God, *crashed* into here, rocks landed *on top* of you, and you *forgot* your name." I finished. "That is correct." She meowed, pawing the air. I gawk at her. "So, you were an angel who fell.. *Literally*." I say, glancing at the sky as if it would give me answers. She hesitated for a few beats. "I do not consider myself an angel, as I have done *exceptional* duties." She meowed slowly and carefully. "Exceptional?" I repeat, raising a brow to tell her I want an explanation. She sighed, her tail twitching ever so slightly. "I have done bad things." She replied. I blink at her, unsure if I should comfort her, or forget this conversation even happened. ...Can I chose the second option? "*Interesting*." I say, drawing out the word. "Why don't you remember your name?" I ask. "Perhaps because every cat in this world has forgotten me." She stretched, then tilted her head at me. "What." I say flatly. "Nothing." She replied. [ Awkward.. ] My tail-tip spreads a little bit - almost like a fan. "Since you were once a "great deity", we should probably look in the library." I offer, already walking ahead towards the library. We walk into the library, which had row after row of books on shelves. I nod to the librarian, Cherry. "Here, Myths and Legends." I meow, taking out a relatively big book and placing it on the ground. I flip through the pages. "M, M, M..." I mutter. "Here. It says that a deity named Black Rose fell.. And was forgotten." DUN, DUN, DUN! Enjoy! :D
-ˏˋ Notes ˊˎ- I love these designs! :0 Both of them were hard to draw (I don't usually put that much detail into my drawings), but they turned out great! I did not mean to make Peach Cream *that much* kawaii, but the more the cuter, the better, no? :DD -ˏˋ Credits ˊˎ- @chocomintyeva for the original characters, Peach Cream and Fallen and Forgotten. Music from Scratch. :) ~~~~ «« @MsGraceSwan »»
