Good luck~ 2: Overall Backstory: This audiobook is based on Maddie's make-believe world of Virtues and Lessers, which takes place in the year 2704. In this world, after a certain disease nicknamed the "Frost", which made people never feel anything but cold, literally and emotionally. People who recovered or were born with the Frost felt as if it were nothing but a small cold. They were often resented by those who suffered with constant freezing temperatures and red noses, not only for their instant recovery, but for what they became afterwards; Virtues. People born with unnatural abilities. Some considered them miracles, others converted back to old times, calling it witchcraft and sending them to prisons. People felt rageful at their neighbors and family locked away for something they couldn't control. War began, and people were either too focused on making a cure for the Frost, training in the army, or just surviving. Population decreased dramatically after what used to be North America (now called Sierland, see map) dropped a nuke on Africa (Inhallend) and the more densely populated parts of Asia (Njor) in 2696. War began, and it has continuously been going since then. All Nations declared a temporary ceasefire right as the overall population dwindled to the mere millions. Factories across the globe shut down due to lack of workers, and people went about life as if they went back in time. Horses began to have more value, since cars were no longer available. Only the rich, and people lucky enough to have a working generator had even a scrap of power, most citizens now huddled around fires to keep warm and used lanterns to see in the darkness. Many people converted to monks, claiming it was punishment of the Lords and Ladies themselves (see chpt 5). This is the story of a few ambitious teens trying to work together to survive the apocalypse, before they turn on each other. 3: Deeper character info (voice pitch, backstory, etc.) Dusk (Main): well... eeesh, poor Dusk i did him dirtyyyyy brooo :(( hes the sidekick AND his character looks awful?? i REALLY gotta make it up to him. ANYWHO... he has a low, masculine (obviously) voice, but he isnt as loud as Dawn (A character that already has an actor). He talks a bit slower, and not as much, but GAWDAM HE CAN SING-at least in my head he can lmaooo. He kinda reminds me of Tolya from the Grishaverse (who coincidentally is also a twin). Maren (Main): Maren doesn't have art lmao-nobody but DUSK has art-I can see Maren having a deeper stronger voice because she's gone through hell and back. She sounds sweet though, like she has a milky yet rough voice if you know what I'm saying? (Probably not.) Sage (Major): Sage has a very serious voice but can get emotional sometimes. We want to hear a great smooth transition between serious to emotional. We want to hear the happiness in your enthusiasm and the tears in your sadness.
