Disney Cruise Line's newest cruise ship, the Disney Destiny, has reached a major milestone as she draws closer to setting sail this November! Earlier today, the Destiny completed her GRAND FLOAT OUT! She was pulled out of the construction hall at the Meyer Werft shipyard, where spectators were able to witness the ship's first time seeing the outside world! Now the ship will be completed within the coming weeks! She should go on her EMS River Conveyance in mid-late September! She will sail out of Port Everglades, FL THIS NOVEMBER! I will do all I can to see her 2nd voyage, as I will be at Disney World during her maiden voyage. I am super excited for this ship, just as much as I was with Treasure. This has managed to get my passion for cruise ship back to a high point and reminded me of why I love cruise ships! I cannot wait to see her in person, and possibly even sail on her if I get the chance! What a way to start off the school year! Now... it's time to discover your Destiny!
