Well, here it is. The project some of you were dreading. I'm leaving Scratch. Why you may ask? Well, there are 3 reasons. 1. I need to concentrate. I'm starting Highschool tomorrow, and I'm going to have to take it seriously. I'm not saying I'm way too old for a children's website, because I would stay on this website for good if I could. But, I have entered an advanced classes program where I will be taking college level courses of basic subjects like math, ELA, science and history. It will not be easy, and I will have to filter out distractions to stay on top of my work. Scratch is something I need to drop for good to make sure I do not fall behind. 2. The site is getting worse. Scratch is fun, I have met many nice people on this site, but the drama has gotten so petty. People aren't handling situations maturely, and I need to break away from it all. The complaints of problematic people, projects getting taken down for no reason, bans, etc. I feel the need to migrate to site with less flaky moderation and more ways to combat drama. 3. Maybe I have gotten a little old for Scratch. This is a great site to be on, and I've made many memories here, but I've noticed that my content and my stories are getting more mature. Like, PG-13 mature, that's all. I can't share my content here because it may be flagged by Scratch Team for being sensitive. Plus, I've had more fun exploring sites like ToyHouse for its versatility. And I know exactly what I want to post there. I'm running out of ideas, and I just no longer have anything good to post to Scratch. So, what now? Well, first I would like to say that I've had so much fun on this site and made so many memories. I will never forget the people I've met here, the memories I've made, and the growth I have experienced as a person. Moving on from Scratch will be hard, but it will be worth it to make new memories, and go on adventures elsewhere. With that in mind, I do have a plan to pop in once a month, leave a status update, and maybe even a bit of art with it. I'm not sure if I will ever put this into action though, considering that I do tend to procrastinate and I may not have the time for it. So, where will I go? I cannot tell you, Scratch Team may take this project down. But you can find me a most places offsite as "Cabinated_Conspiracy." If you go to a site, search my user, but do not find me, there is a chance I may not be on that site. The last thing I ask of you regarding this is: If you are a consumer, viewer, follower, or otherwise of my content who is under the age of 13, DO. NOT. FOLLOW. ME. OFF. SITE. Many of the sites I am on or (occasionally) the content I post offsite allow or contain themes that are sensitive to people under this age. Do not follow me offsite. Please, just wait till you are the appropriate age. These age safeguards are for your own safety. For the rest of you who meet these requirements and can follow me offsite, feel free to stop by and say hello. I have no problem with people my age coming to chat offsite.
