Hiya! Press Space or click for next :D I had one of these a while ago, but I deleted it (idk why) and so now I'm making a new one! It starts in kindergarten this time too :) Images from QueenBee's picrew (I might redo this with my own art later, or just do another one on my alt account)
Kindergarten: she/her, orientation unknown I don't remember much from kindergarten, other than the fact that I wanted to be a princess. Now, this might sound strange because I'm transmasculine, but I personally think this points to the fact that I've always seen being feminine and girly as more of a hobby of sorts than an actual "this is who I am." (I still lowkey want to be a femboy lol) First grade: she/her, idk at this point First grade was when I started writing books, so it was a major turning point for me. I went from hating books to writing full-on short stories! Writing has become a huge part of my life and even a potential future career (my writing alt is @StarfallForAll btw) Second grade: She/her, maybe straight? During second grade I started "dating" one of my close friends (you know how that goes lol) It was also the start of COVID, but that's about all I remember. Third grade: She/her, probably straight??? This year was mostly just E-Learning, which for me meant watching videos and playing games, all while getting no learning done whatsoever. Yippee. Fourth grade: She/they, orientation is still ??? Fourth grade was a MESS. Bullies left and right, an awful teacher, friends turning into enemies... it was HORRIBLE. At least I was back in school, so that helped. In the end, I barely escaped that year with my sanity, plus some unwanted depression. I had discovered my less-than-usual femininity and was using she/they to express that. Fifth grade: They/them, aroace I could not have asked for a better year to follow fourth grade. The teacher was AMAZING. People actually understood me. The bullies all left or apologized. It was great. I also started using they/them pronouns to describe me, along with the terms "Aroace" and "Nonbinary." Sixth grade: They/them, aroace This year went a little bit sideways, but it was okay in the end. There were a few specific kids who were absolute menaces about my identity (along with other things), but I graduated elementary school this year and was ultimately happy with how things turned out. Seventh grade: They/them, aroace: MIDDLE SCHOOL!!! YAY!!! It was actually a whole lot better than I was expecting. There were so many queer people at our school (most of them were girls or enbys, but eh) and the one time that I did get bullied, the teachers actually took it seriously! I also transitioned over the summer (if you couldn't tell.) YIPPEEEEEE Eight grade: He/they, aroace: I discovered I was plural! (Wait what-? I-we-aaaaah forget it.) Due to friendship drama I lost pretty much all of the friends that I had made the year before, which left me isolated and sad. I started using he/they pronouns and was identifying with the label "transgender" rather than "nonbinary". More coming soon!
