There was Pinecone, the old, mad, cat down the alley, and Almond, his hot-headed sister- "When did this happen?" chirped the white kit. "A loooooong, time ago." rasped Apricot. "Before Pinecone went bananas! Anyways, Pinecone, and his sister were going to the woods, on a very rainy day. Almond insisted it wasn't safe, it was to dark, to rainy, and she claimed there were monsters. Pinecone didn't listen, he charged, ahead, with Almond following. Pinecone believed he would be a hero if they rid of the monster, There weren't any noises in the woods, it was silent, ...deathly silent. They continued on, Pinecone was to stubborn to call it quits, and Almond wanted to make sure Pinecone was safe." Apricot stopped to cough, his ribs shook violently, while the kit watched wide- eyed. "W-what, what happens, next??" The white kit trembled. Apricot wheezed, "Immmm sorry, k-kit, Thhhhhhhats f-for another-" Aprico began coughing again. The white kit was watching him, pleading to continue the story.Apricot kept coughing, and the white kit headed back home, he glanced down the alley where Pinecone was, the white kit could see the ginger tom, inside a small crate, sleeping, his fur was flea infested, and he had red marks near his eyes. He looked horrible. The white kit headed back home, cautious of the humans, and their rubbish, and scared of the mangy street cats. Before he turned down the street he lived on, he cast a look at the foggy, haunted woods, his mother would tell him to stop listening to Apricots tall tales, but the kit wanted to know more, more about the sinister woods, the monsters, and the two siblings,...and their horrible accident.
