This is a glitch in Scratch's search - if you don't type anything into the search bar and press enter, it goes to the URL https://scratch.mit.edu/search/projects. If you switch from popular to trending search, it adds ?mode=trending to the URL as a parameter. Apparently the search engine also includes this parameter as part of its search.
