This is by far the oldest version of New Soup 3 that I have. (BEWARE THAT SEEING INSIDE CONTAINS SPOILERS, YOU SHOULD BEAT THE FINAL VERSION FIRST https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/50753706 ) Originally this version was made on Scratch before being transferred to TurboWarp. The nonstop lag is caused by the use of touching blocks on over 200 clones of tiles, which was fixed in later versions.
Fun facts: When I started the final remake (Yes a remake. The OG version and first remake was scrapped, so this is the final remake of NSMB3), I did not intend for this game to be New Soup 3. But rather a game where Mario goes berserk, gets a shotgun (Kinda like the one in Mario in the Multiverse 64 rom hack), and attacks all the toads. It was planned to have 8 levels, but for some reason, the story was kinda similar to that of NSMB3, so it just ended up becoming the final remake of NSMB3. The version you see here is the transition between that untitled shotgun mario game and NSMB3. More original plot will be revealed after some of my other games come out.
