Ezekiel's Vision, told in Ezekiel chapter 1. On the fifth day of the fourth month of Ezekiel's thirtieth year (the fifth year of King Jehoiachin's captivity), Ezekiel received a vision from the Lord as he was on the bank of the River Chebar in Babylon. He saw a great whirlwind of fire, and from it came four living creatures. Each creature four heads: the head of a man on the front, of a lion on the right, of an ox on the left, and of an eagle on the back. Each also had four wings, two touching another's wings and two to cover each one's own body. Each had straight, bronze-colored legs with calves' feet. Each creature had the brightness of fire and lighting. And under each creature on the ground were wheels of beryl, and they looked like wheels inside of wheels. They were covered in eyes, and inside of them were the creatures' spirits. When each creature moved, the wheels moved with them, because their spirits were in the wheels. And they never turned, they moved straight in each direction. The creatures had a firmament of crystal above them, and from there came a loud voice, and at once the creatures stopped and let down their wings. A throne of sapphire descended from the firmament, and a Man sat upon it. He had the brilliance and glory of fire and rainbow. Ezekiel fell on his face before the Lord as He spoke. Drawn by me with pencil on lined paper, which made the quality a bit bad. Jesus loves you! Soli Deo Gloria!
