(Note: Sorry again for the wait. Summer breaks make me really unproductive.) This is a Sentry. They have been mentioned in at least two of the past projects covering the Lords. Sentries are sapient creatures that dwell within the Garden. They act as watchdogs within the realm, serving as the many eyes of Xenophanes itself; anything they see, Xenophanes sees as well. Wild Sentries can be uncommonly found stalking the plains around the center-grounds of the Garden, mainly appearing as 1, or small groups of 2-3. However, more abundant numbers of them can be found to the west in the badlands of the realm. In there, they can be found in great troops. If you press space or tap the image, you can also see some simplified examples of Sentries that serve a couple of the Lords.
Trivia: -Sentries were created from void matter, and given form and shape by Xenophanes. -As mentioned, Sentries are sapient, leading them to have trace amounts of intelligence. They are capable of using tools and have simple problem-solving skills. -Sentries occasionally make clicking sounds; their masks subtly shift and tilt to each click. The reason as to why they do this is unknown. -Sentries are capable of Voidspeak, but they can just barely say simple phrases. -They are as curious as they are ruthless. -The Sentries that patrol the city in the north were given the same gift of power Xenophanes gave to Xepholus, albeit to a much lesser extent as it was Xepholus who gave them it. This explains the crystals sprouting from their hair and parts of their body. -Xepholus gave Garithogg a few normal sentries to serve him, as Xepholus knows Garithogg wouldn't last long without some help. -Underneath their masks is nothing but an opening, with void matter inside. This void matter acts as the Sentries' blood, and it will spew out if they are beheaded. If too much escapes a Sentries' body, it will die. -Sentries consume souls; they eat by absorbing them through the eye-opening of their mask like a vacuum cleaner. -The children of Xanathia and wild Sentries do NOT get along. -Despite their perpetual malnourished appearance, the strength of an average Sentry is comparable to that of a silverback gorilla. They're just as big as them too. -The amount of toes and fingers a Sentry have can vary from individual to individual.
