So basically, someone I follow on my main account posted an announcement where they said someone is stealing their projects and reposting without credit or permission on YouTube. I went to their channel, and saw that they still have two up. I looked in the comments to see if anyone noticed it, and only one person did and tried to call them out. However, they were ignored and someone told them to prove it. I would have too and would have reported the projects tbh but I don’t have a YouTube account, which really sucks. The subject is CinmonGuy, a YouTuber that claims to be an editor (*cough cough* they’re not *COUGH*). Personally, I find this really irritating because I myself have in fact had one of my own AIs stolen on Character Ai (though I didn’t report them, cause I’m a scaredy cat and I don’t care too much.) This is really rude and extremely embarrassing, considering how people would put their blood sweat and tears into something just for it to get stolen by someone and for that someone in question to get more likes and attention. It’s really stupid. I mean, I get that it’s good but it’s not yours. And besides, if you really want to repost it at least give credit. I also noticed how the person also used a TikToker’s video, yet gave them credit. I have a theory for this one. I think it’s because Scratch/era aren’t as popular as TikTok or YouTube, so stealing from Scratch is ‘okay.’ No it’s not. Stop doing it. It’s not a good thing. Stealing is a sin. So, I KINDLY ask that someone reports this thief’s videos, asks them to take it down for content theft, or at least spreads awareness with proof. Edit: they explained that they didn't know the original owners name in a video
