That night, Five met me outside my tent. I was surprised to see her, but I didn't let her know that. She lead me outside the Camp, and showed me how to climb up the hexagonal glass panels to a small platform above the camp. It was silent without the constant fizz of static. "I often come up here when I'm stressed, which is... a lot." Five told me. "You? Stressed?" I laughed. "Hard to believe." We sat in silence for a while, watching the sun dip below the jagged horizon. "You know what I want?" Five muttered. I turned to look at her. I could feel her eyes fixed on the horizon, even through her visor. "I want to see the world back to normal again." I opened my mouth to speak. I hadn't thought of this place healing at all – I assumed it would stay this way forever. But then, I'm no scientist. Five is. "I want to see the blue sky. I want to see grass. Do you remember the smell of the grass?" She asked. The question caught me off guard. Five always noticed the smaller things in life, like... smell of grass. For me? I can't tell the difference between sand and sky. "Grass? No, not particularly." I replied. "I'm assuming it would smell like green stuff." Five smiled. "Green things. Yes, like flowers." I searched my mind for any references of flowers. Apparently, I wasn't much of a flower person. "If you could see one flower again, what flower would you see?" I asked. Five looked at me. "A daffodil." She replied. I slept that night thinking of what Five had said. A daffodil – I vaguely connected it with the colour yellow, and that's it. I slept well for the first day in months. The next morning, I checked my pocket to make sure the USB was still there. Fortunately no one had stolen it in my sleep. Outside, the sun was climbing the horizon, silhouetting several new airships outside the dome. Seriously, what were they doing here? A few early risers were up and about; putting on their armour, outside scouting the perimeter, or trading for food. The armoury was on the far side of this small camp, where if I was lucky, I could buy another set of armour. Without it, there would be no scavenging, therefore no food. I trudged along the sand paths, ignoring suspicious glances and questions. I didn’t have anybody close here except for Five, and I preferred it that way. The armoury merchant didn’t ask questions and threw me a new helmet, much to my relief. But what annoyed me was the airships. Obviously, Survival Order ships, sent from Area X. They were the peacekeepers in the wasteland, under the command of One, the first survivor. Area X was a science lab island off the coast of the Radioactive Sea and had to be crossed by Airship. They never visited the camps unless they had important news.
Uh yeah I wrote it all Ummmm what else to say Oh yeah its really short cuz its a plot outline e.g. instead of writing stuff like 'I bought a muffin before trudging grimly to the broken down shack of a house that is my home' id just say 'I went home'. Yeah draft 2 is in progress
