reasonings because I must explain everything ALREADY MY AMAZING FRIEND TIER Aifric: I do not need to explain YOU'RE SO COOL PLEASE BE MY FRIEND TIER Aurelia: One of my favorite characters EVER and she is just. So nice. Just one of the nicest people. Very sweet but we also need to work on that self-esteem missy >:[ but I adore her Manatee: So lovable and also unintentionally hilarious. Likes to be helpful and is enthusiastic about EVERYTHING and I think she'd want to be my friend, so that's a plus. She'd probably also excitedly teach me Hydrolarian which I'd be so hyped about Nym: HILARIOUS. SO FUNNY. Even if the humor is a liiiiiiittle self-deprecating... but he's basically the class clown but also SERIOUS if he needs to be. He also cares a lottttt which is niiiiice Kvalja: VERY VERY COOL. I want her to be my friend uuuuuuugh-- but also I would. Uh. Feel responsible for all of the stuff she gets into. And danger. And I'd worry a lot even though she's a draconian and very durable. But she seems like she'd care about me which I appreciate Reigna: I think Reigna is very cool, but also a LITTLE dumb. Just a little. Like she comes up with ridiculous plans but there's USUALLY a way to get out of them. I also like her personality a lot; like she might be a lot for me sometimes but I think we'd have fun together I WOULD LOVE TO BE YOUR FRIEND! :D TIER Vlaria: I think she's cool and honestly her interaction with Nym sold me. Like, she doesn't know a lot of Common (basically English) but the drawing on the napkins was genuinely very endearing. I'm not that artistically creative but I think she'd be fun to hang around Soren & Owl: These two feel kind of like who would most logically be my friends. They're semi-around my age and Owl even kind of reminds me of one of my friends. I like Owl's deadpan sense of humor and I think Soren would be cool to hang out with when he opens up, buuuut Owl is very petty/wants to do what SHE wants and Soren is very shy and socially awkward. HOWEVER, those aren't things that would stop us from getting along Zedarious, Igeveis, and Tang: This trio is more of like... "I want to be the best student in your class" than "I want to be your friend", but some difference. I think I could learn a lot from them and they're all pretty nice! Zedarious struggles a biiiit with empathy and Igeveis is socially awkward buuuuuut I wouldn't dump my emotions on Zedarious and I think I'd nerd out with Igeveis enough for them to open up. Plume: VERY COOL. I also really appreciate that he can have sincere moments even though he likes to joke about how cool he is. HOWEVER. He is also. Kind of pushy. And a little dumb like Reigna. And like ALL of the sillies I would feel like it's my responsibility to keep him from getting into trouble hhhh Wisteria: I want to be Wisteria's friend because I don't like the alternative lmao. Like don't get me wrong, they're cool, but if you're not someone Wisteria likes, then you're someone Wisteria DISLIKES. Which isn't a great spot to be in. Also Wisteria would let their favorite people get away with anything and would defend them wholeheartedly which is nice, even if I don't get up to anything nefarious Orca: Orca is... very chill. I think I'd like to be his friend, and I'd want to, because he is very cool (especially with his music), but he's also a little toooo laidback for me. To add, since he didn't get to put himself first when he was younger, he kind of overcompensates by being more selfish (not obnoxiously so, though) now. Which I don't blame the guy for, but y'know WOULDN'T GO OUT OF MY WAY TO BEFRIEND, BUT IT OULD BE COOL IF WE BECAME FRIENDS :] TIER Cori: Cori's very nice! She's kind of happy doing her own thing though, so I probably wouldn't try to befriend her, but if we did become friends, I think she'd happily show me things like frogs and toads and her snail ARCHIBALD. Also slugs. I think all of these things are cute so I would greatly enjoy this Talindra: Mmmm I like her, buuuut is kinda complicated. She tends to be very stoic and doesn't show a lot of emotion, BUT she's also kind of rebellious and into music and stuff, which is cool. She's also kinda like Orca, wanting to live for herself, which is valid. So I don't know if I'd be like "I WANNA BE YOUR FRIEND" but I think I'd like to become her friend. Opal: Opal's very sweet! I like her a lot, and I think she'd be really kind to me, and a good friend. Howeverrrr, I do think we'd have a difference of opinion on some things, and I think... well, I wouldn't like having my emotions manipulated a whole lot. Even if I'm sad, I just kinda want to feel what I feel. I'd also be wary of her emotions affecting my own hhhh Qeep: They're very nice! Kind of socially awkward, considering they are
s l i m e and have only ever really been around slime, buuuut I like them. They ARE a bit of a pushover though, so I'd kind of want to be careful with what I say/do around them. Watch for the signs and all of that. Claire: The poor, poor tired girl. She's sweet, really, albeit not one for socializing, but I think I'd like to be her friend and help her out where I could. We probably wouldn't spend much time together, though, unless she came into my dreams, because she'd be sleeping a lot of the time. Natalid & Hawk: Hilariously normal people thrown into the world of magic and hijinks with the gang. They seem like they're nice, though, and a sweet couple, so I think I'd like hanging out with them. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way to, though, because they're happy with each other, and while they can obviously have friends, I'd probably just feel awkward lmao WE COULD HANG OUT IN A GROUP SETTING, BUT PROBABLY WOULDN'T BE FRIENDS TIER Basil & Tempest: These two remind me a bit of my classmates, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but isn't necessarily a good thing, either. They're not really the people I hang around, especially considering they became kind of notorious in their hometown for all of their shenanigans. I also like Basil more than I like Tempest, but they're kind of a package deal. Nightingale: It's not that I don't like Nightingale, but she is... very troubled. She's become a better person since she's been cursed, but it hasn't been very good for her mental health. She has a lot to work through, and while I'd wanna help, I don't really know if I could be a FRIEND to her, or if she'd even let me in. Jack: I love Jack as a character, but he's really just... a random guy with a bad past lmao. I don't think he'd stand out to be as someone I want to be friends with, considering he's very cold and standoffish most of the time. He also gets so envious of other people that he steals sometimes (a habit he has mostly broken), soooo that's not exactly friend material lmao Pehv & Evelar: Two incredibly traumatized people that, like Nightingale, I'm not really sure if I could help. They also tend to keep to themselves, and knowing them, I wouldn't really want to disturb them to try to befriend them. Orist: Orist... /tries/ to be likable. He tries his hardest to be funny, but that in turn makes him cringe, because he is... not funny. I also think he's got some stuff he needs to figure out, and I reeeeeally don't have much of an interest in being his friend because I couldn't tolerate him. Celestina: Quiet, keeps to herself, and kind of just wants to be /done/ adventuring. She's tired, but probably the most responsible out of everyone in the gang, which I appreciate. I just don't really think our personalities would mesh, although I wouldn't mind talking to her. Frillis & Elizabeth: Both stoic warrior types, who I think I'd find too unapproachable to... well, approach. I don't think we'd have a lot to talk about, ESPECIALLY because none of us would be willing to start the conversation. So, we'd pretty much just sit there in silence. Mathienne: I just don't think Mathienne would like me much lmao. Like... she doesn't like very many people, and I don't think I'd want to try to get into her good graces. I also think I might annoy her, but to be fair, most people annoy her. I don't think we'd get along ABSOLUTELY NOT. A MILLION FEET AWAY PLEASE TIER Briar: GOD she's so ANNOYING. And also kind of a terrible person, but not downright evil, unlike the OTHER people in this tier. But she's like. So puntable. I would not want her to be anywhere near me and I would cheer at her downfall. I would complain to everyone I know if I had to spend even a moment of time with her Annairda: Irredeemably evil. But also, I wouldn't be interesting to her, which is a MASSIVE relief considering the fact that she kidnaps and sometimes murders "interesting" people for their unique features and stories. She's basically insane and likes to play mind games with people, including LITTLE CHILDREN, which is just... great. Awesome. Stellar person, she is. Reivyn: Absolutely terrifying. No. Never. Please get her away from me. At least Annairda masked her crazy and wouldn't be interested in me, but Reivyn is just... evil. Very evil and finds it to be lots of fun to hurt people. I do not want her anywhere NEAR me
