This is also a little off from my usual upload time so here's to hoping that doesn't mess with how this does I spent way too much time on this HELGPF Finally finished this comic strip at last, now being my second finished strip at that! You may have noticed a few things that're different between this one and the last, the most noticeable of which being this no longer using my pixel brush. It was a nice brush for the time being while I had my quarter-yearly art crisis (brush edition!), but I'm way more comfortable with my current modified syrup brush, so I ended up using it for this. And honestly? It turned out really well, which is something I can say for the rest of the strip too! I'm so so proud of how this came out. This has been in production for a bit over a month and a half, so I'm really glad to finally have it finished. Lots of Cricketcry and Bramblemask development in this, which I always love. Also fun fact they actually aren't together yet during the period this scene takes place, so take that as you will (another fun fact I want to interject too- if you're wondering why it's night time during this, there is a reason! Tldr both of these cats have very messed up sleep schedules (cricket has insomnia and bramble has a circadian rhythm disorder), so if they're going out it's usually at night lol) Also also!! In the script, it mentions a 'conversation / talk about Moth'. Well, recently I actually began scripting another comic strip that revolves around that conversation! Unfortunately though I don't think it'll really see the light of day, as it is turning out to be. VERY dark so far. Usually I'd just end up censoring it the best I can for scratch but if I tried doing that with that script it'd just lose the whole initial meaning, so yeah probably not coming to fruition sadly :')) Anyways though, that's most of my thoughts on this comic strip!
