She lives with her grandmother, a dream-weaver, while her parents travel as herbalists across the Norðellan isles. Quiet and curious, Lumi spends her days sketching hidden creatures she swears live just out of sight — snow sprites in the chimney smoke, or shy tree spirits peeking from pine branches. Her best friend, Tove, drags her into little adventures around Fjellhavn. Her dream is to become a storybook illustrator and share the magic she sees with the world. One day, she finds a mysterious, blank book in her attic. Now, her drawings are beginning to appear on its pages — even ones she hasn't drawn yet.
