~ My beautiful feathered friends, fly free! ———————— I adore birds so much I think they are absolutely amazing and wonderful. Here are two some small gouache paintings I made of some lovely birds; they also happen to be gifts for other people in real life! :D ———————— …a tranquil landscape of a sprawling forest that dips into a gushing waterfall. I can hear the birds chirping right now, soaring starlings and gray-dappled swifts. If only I was a bird. If only I could glide away. I see myself there with them. Can I be there? Up in the waterfall, skimming the tips of my wings against a gentle spray of water? Soaring up to the heavens above, dashing around the sun and drifting back to land to rest my tender body?… ————————
