About a month ago, I played Mushroom Oasis, and I absolutely adore Mychael. He didn't resonate with me too much personality-wise, but I did notice some aspects of his that were similar to myself. Mychael enjoys reading as do I. He's been to the library a bunch, and I enjoy going to the library. Mychael built most of the things in his cabin/house, and I do not have the patience required to do so. But, if I did, then I'd be like him in that sense. I like making things. More rather, I like saying I made things that are really cool, and if I have to do them to be able to say that, then I'd do it. As soon as [Player] wakes up, Mychael has grown quite an attachment to them. Mychael is definitely lonely, and [Player] is the first person he's seen in years. He also found them near some deadly mushrooms that would call them to it for the rest of their life, so... it makes sense for both reasons why he'd want to keep them close. I'd do the same <3 Mychael also seems to have a fear of rejection. I do too, and I'm not sure whether his is... more or less than mine. If [player] chooses to freak out when Mychael revealed his multiple sets of eyes, he tried his hardest to get them to calm down and understand him, to stay with him and think that everything is normal. Oh, how I wish I had a power like that. On Day 2 (Spoilers if you haven't seen or played it), Mychael tries to make [Player] stay with him for longer, showing them the chickens, going out for a hike, showing [Player] the flowers, and even going as far as making them feel very sick so they'd stay with him another day. Whether it's because if [Player] goes, the mushrooms will call them or because he doesn't want them to leave, or maybe a mix of both, I see that as something I'd do if I had the powers he does. All in all, Mychael's a fun guy (a fungi hahaha) who I happen to relate to a little, and I'd love to cosplay him.
