Lorelei needed coffee, like every morning, every day, for the past few months. So of course, she went to her favorite coffee shop: The Dollop of Whipped Cream. Interesting name, but still, a great place. So of course, she walked from her apartment to the coffee shop. It was a 20 minute walk there, so it was also good for her morning exercise to make sure she stayed fit. She opened the door to the coffee shop, and there was a giraffe in the coffee shop. A live giraffe. What. The. Hell. Was. A. Giraffe. Doing. In. A. Coffee. Shop. A giraffe, here, why?!? So of course, she was curious. She walked up to the boy at the counter, the cute guy who was there every Sunday. Lucky her. But she wasn’t there to flirt, no, she needed to know why there was a live giraffe in a coffee shop called The Dollop of Whipped Cream. “Why exactly is there a /live/ giraffe here?” She asked, taking mental notes. “Don’t know, it just appeared.” The boy shrugged. “APPEARED? So, like, magic?” Lorelei asked out of pure shock. “Guess so.” The boy replied nonchalantly, clicking a button on the register. “So, what’re you getting cutie?” The boy asked. Lorelei blushed slightly, but took out her twenty dollar bill. “The usual.” She said with a small nod. “Ah, okay.” The boy replied, going to work on her usual order, which was a vanilla oat milk latte with extra whipped cream. Lorelei sat down near the giraffe, if it magically appeared, then the note she got about magical powers was real, and whatever she drew would randomly appear! Come to think of it, she drew a giraffe in a coffee shop a few days ago for some art lesson. WAIT- IT WAS HER FAULT THERE WAS A GIRAFFE HERE? Lorelei couldn’t believe it. Just as she began to think, her order was called out. “Lorelei Forbes!!! Order for Lorelei Forbes!” The barista yelled, and Lorelei came to get it, smiling as she took her drink. She decided this was enough for one coffee run and walked back to her apartment to think over what she just discovered.
