I’m an artist and a writer in my spare time as well. ) ────── ⋆ ──────◟ ★〡 ❃ ❁ ❃ ────── ⋆ ──────◜ ⠀⠀⠀[ roleplaying experience ] : ⠀⠀⠀▹ ( While I am new to Scratch roleplay, I do have some years of RP experience, mainly with Warrior Cats RPs! ) ────── ⋆ ──────◟ ★〡 ❃ ❁ ❃ ────── ⋆ ──────◜ ⠀⠀⠀[ kit i’m applying for ] : ▹ ( Phantomkit! ) ⠀⠀⠀[ reasoning ] : ▹ ( I love these little guys’ designs, and UTM seems like I really cool RP! Phantom happens to be my favorite in the litter [ although it was close between her and Enamel ]. ) ────── ⋆ ──────◟ ★〡 ❃ ❁ ❃ ────── ⋆ ──────◜ ⠀⠀⠀[ personality ] : ⠀⠀⠀▹ ( + ): Sentimental, Tolerant, Empathetic. ⠀⠀⠀▹ ( = ): Curious, Unassuming, Emotional. ⠀⠀⠀▹ ( - ): Jealous, Insecure, Inhibited. ( Phantomkit isn’t all that significant at first glance. She enjoys being around other cats, even if she’s not doing anything, and may simply linger and fade into the background. Nonetheless, she loves listening to stories that others have to tell her. The presence of any other cat feels safe, and she dislikes being left alone. She finds herself easily emotionally invested in other cats’ wellbeing, especially her family, even if they aren’t the kindest to her outright. Despite this, she bites down her negative emotions, crushing anything that feels bitter. She hides her jealousy towards her other siblings, not wanting to admit she craves the favoritism they receive. She feels inadequate and mousy in comparison to them, even if she’ll never show it outwardly. ) ────── ⋆ ──────◟ ★〡 ❃ ❁ ❃ ────── ⋆ ──────◜ ⠀⠀⠀[ identity ] : ▹ ( At first, Phantomkit won’t question her identity. However, she will find that she doesn’t particularly identify with femininity. When she reaches apprenticeship, she’ll start experimenting with they/them pronouns, before realizing he’s transmasc and using he/they [ and possibly neopronouns ]. Later on, he’ll also realize he’s minsexual, meaning he’s attracted to anyone masculine-presenting, regardless of their gender. ) ────── ⋆ ──────◟ ★〡 ❃ ❁ ❃ ────── ⋆ ──────◜ ⠀⠀⠀[ family dynamics ] : ▹ ( Regalcrest - Phantomkit will soon pick up that she’s not preferred between her siblings. She’ll be incredibly disappointed [ and a bit scared ] because of this, but will still seek Regalcrest out. She’ll try her best to gain her attention and approval, however she can ) ▹ ( Enamelkit - Phan looks up to her older sister. She might be just a bit jealous, but still trusts the older kit and will often seek her company. ) ▹ ( Lightningkit - Phan harbors resentment towards Lightningkit…and she hates it. She feels like she’s a terrible person for being jealous of her. She’ll still try to seek a connection with her, but she won’t seek her out as much as Regalcrest or Enamelkit. ) ────── ⋆ ──────◟ ★〡 ❃ ❁ ❃ ────── ⋆ ──────◜ ⠀⠀⠀[ roleplay examples ] : [ Phantomkit’s paws gently trailed against the leafy ground. She walked slowly, enjoying the soft crinkle of the fallen leaves against the grass. The soft glow of the mushrooms was familiar and calming. Phan’s ears twitched as she felt the cool leaf-fall breeze against her pelt. Her slow pace made it so she walked just behind her siblings. As long as they were in her sight. She knew they’d all be fine. They’d…all be fine. ] ────── ⋆ ──────◟ ★〡 ❃ ❁ ❃ ────── ⋆ ──────◜ ⠀⠀⠀[ trivia ] : ⠀⠀⠀▹ ( Absolutely despises loud noises and yelling. It’s one of the easiest ways to stress her out. ) ⠀⠀⠀▹ ( Despite having horrible sleep habits, Phan finds comfort in the night. ) ▹ ( Her most common nickname would likely be Phan, but I think she’d also go by Finn, as it sounds slightly similar and is also just cute. ) ────── ⋆ ──────◟ ★〡 ❃ ❁ ❃ ────── ⋆ ──────◜ ⠀⠀⠀[ litter host ] : ⠀⠀⠀[ template ] : [ song ] : Waterfall by Toby Fox, from the Undertale Soundtrack.
❃ ❁ ❃ [ disabilities/disorders ] : ( Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Trigger warning at this point for discussions of trauma! ) [ research ] : ( Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD, is a disorder where a person has great difficulty recovering after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event. PTSD usually lasts for months, and possibly years. In Phantom’s case, she is triggered by coyotes. PTSD symptoms are often grouped into four types: intrusive memories, avoidance, negative changes in thinking and mood, and changes in physical and emotional reactions. Phantom primarily experiences the first and last kind of symptoms.) [ intrusive memories ] : ( Phantomkit will occasionally have sudden, unwanted thoughts and memories of the coyotes. These memories will sometimes feel like the event is flashing before her eyes. She may remember their howls, of the gnashing of teeth, or the way they growled. She’ll also have dreams of coyotes, such as nightmares of being chased or having to fight them. ) [ physical/emotional changes ] : ( Phantomkit, because of her nightmares, will often stay up late and avoid sleeping, causing her to to be sluggish and tired in the day and having poor concentration. She may seem more skittish, especially when she’s alone or somewhere less familiar. In worse cases, she’s show outward physical reactions, like sweating, breathing quickly, and feeling her heart beat irregularly fast. ) [ negative changes in thinking/mood ] : ( Since Phantomkit is constantly trying to suppress her feelings for others, a lot of her mood changes will be internal. She’ll have very bad trouble thinking positively, often assuming the worst of even small events. She’s in a constant state of fear and guilt- wishing she could have done something, terrified it could all happen again. Because of all these things, she will often seek shelter and validation from others, because she feels incredibly vulnerable on her own. ) [ recovery ] : ( While trauma cannot be entirely erased, recovery from PTSD is possible. Phan will first have to find herself comfortable enough to talk about it. It may take some time for her to find herself ready, but when she finds a figure she can really trust, she’ll be more capable of opening up. She’ll also learn to cope with calming hobbies, finding something that can distract her and make her happy to drown out her chronic negative thinking. She’ll also have to learn to be less hard on herself, slowly rebuilding her self-confidence and learning to care about herself and start trying to please others less. She’ll also will also have to learn independence- that it’s okay to rely on others, but that she should also trust herself. Her healing will show in other ways as well, like getting better sleep when her nightmares let up; and therefore having more energy in the daytime. )
