hello! its been a while... 2023 since my last project in fact this account was an experiment. i made it with the goal of getting popular, maybe even getting a featured project. i created a "brand" for it, that being frog themed games. and it worked. i got featured, and each of my projects got 1000+ views. but in the end it wasn't worth it. it was fun to make these games, but i had backed myself into a corner. i felt like i could ONLY make frog games. and i felt like i needed to create a game even better than the one that got featured. i felt i needed to shoot for that high again, but it didn't happen. i never finished my big projects i had planned, they were just way too ambitious. if you wanted to know: i had plans for a frog collecting game where you could train your frogs and catch frogs with rare abilities (kinda like Pokémon), and a choose your own adventure game. i also just wasn't making projects i was passionate in. my true passion is frame-by-frame animation, and especially more surrealist and unconventional stuff. i purposely made the projects on this account appeal to a wider audience, even including lots of Nintendo music and characters because they're popular... i don't even own a switch LOL. i purely did that because they're popular characters i'm sorry don't get me wrong, i still look back on these projects fondly, it just got too overwhelming in the end so... yeah... the lesson i learned from becoming popular is simply that its not worth it. you may be tempted to shoot for fame on this site, its an easy trap to fall into, but honestly the most rewarding thing is making what you love. please don't make a "brand" and restrict yourself to making just one thing. experiment and have fun, even if its "weird" or not many people see it. years later, you will still look back on your projects fondly :) one of my biggest regrets on scratch was deleting an account i had because i thought it was "cringe" :'( luckily i am doing what i love more now. i'm thinking about cool little stories, and i'm also having fun participating in MAPs. i likely wont link the account i'm posting on now, simply because i quite like having way fewer followers, but rest assured i'm still making things :) i'm sorry if you felt betrayed knowing i made this account for fame. i would like to say that i genuinely did have a lot of fun making some of these projects, it was just taking on more than i could chew that burned me out. and if you're wondering: no, i'm not coming back. there is a chance i could make a silly frog animation, as a proper final project of sorts, but no more projects after that. thank you all for this experience and all the love on my projects :) i will not forget the nice comments i've received <3
