Still haven't settled on a name and I'm not fulllyyy satisfied but here's the progress I've got so far. At some point I lost the hat sillhouette, but bear in mind it still is the same kind of hat as the first slide. A LOT OF THESE ARE DOODLES THEY WILL LOOK WEIRD BECAUSE I DREW THEM FOR FUN IN CLASS. 1-2) initial concept art 3) i made some decisions 4) sketch and design notes as well as facial expressions. the fourth one does not have an eyebrow that is the mouth of the expression above it. 5) sketch 6) more doodles and also a half-efforted gijinka They're based on a doodle or sketch made by some kid, more specifically inspired by my own preschool drawings. The guideline arms, (which I didn't do in preschool, but it fit either way) stick hands, the single-shape dress, and also the sun on their outfit. The triangle banner and kite tail was just for fun. I gave them a hat and one of those fancy canes. for vibes too. Basically the general premise is that they are a bartering shopkeeper who trades some stuff they find for parts to complete themself, although they seem never to reach that goal Generally affable and friendly if not a tad neurotic, but doesn't really have actual motives besides that and is not obligated to anyone. Probably wouldn't be against breaking a promise or two At some point I took this and ran, deciding "hey I should base them off a decorator crab." because Tenna was based (initally) off an ant or bug and if a television can be an ant then I can do whatever I want. I didn't really know what to do though, so I just kind of gave them weird pencil legs and decided it was apt. At least there's a more defined sillhouette? Also I put a seaweed strand on the hat for no reason besides 1) it's a beach 2) they're kind of a crab 3) sillhouette purposes 4) it looks alright THEIR DESIGN IS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS. also their shop is their backpack
