[ TW for fur farms, the k1lling of animals, hunting ] This has nothing to do with scratch, or the internet, it’s just something I’ve been thinking about. Fur farms. Especially the ones made for Amazon tails. These places k1ll animals for their pelts, paws, tails, etc. im fine with taxidermy, as long as the animal was found like that, and you did not k1ll it for the pelt. if you trap and k1ll animals to get their pelts, either to sell or just have, I don’t really like it anymore. Don’t get me wrong, taxidermy is very cool, and I love it, but if you hurt an animal for just a quick buck off selling their pelt, then… (I’m not vegan, I know this happens with food too, but as a coyote Therian I could never give up meat so-) On a similar note, the k1lling of animals eating human cattle. Yes, I know they are trying to protect their livestock, but it’s not even very common for this to happen. It usually occurs when humans k1ll off most of their food, causing them to find other ways to survive, like eating cattle. If they are caught, they are usually sh0t. It’s not the animals’ fault, they’re trying to survive. Finally, hunting for sport. This is where it gets more complicated. If you hunt animals who are not endangered or already injured animals, I’d say if be fine with that, honestly. I do understand that sometimes people need food, that hunting is just easier if they’re low on money, I get it. But if you k1ll an animal just to k1ll it, that’s where I draw the line. I know I sound like one of those crazy vegans trying to tell you to eat less meat or whatever, but that is NOT what I am doing. My favorite food is chicken nuggets. I’m saying that wild animals are trying to survive through hunting, foraging, fighting, their lives are hard. And we’re just making them more difficult. Cattle is different, they have infinite food and a lot of safety. They were born to be k1llled. I know that’s sad, but it’s the truth. They aren’t as smart as wild animals, because they just need less brain power. They’re not that smart, also I feel better about it. Idk dude. My opinions r weird and inconsistent:p Rant over.
