so how to make your shading cool: when you are shading with a solid color, you should make the shading have -3 hue than the original color, lower the saturation by some (preferably a small ammount), and lower the darkness by some aswell, then your shading should look like the shading in the picture how to shade with white: make sure the shading is a light purple or blue, it will look better than a light grey, i promise you. how to shade with grey: same as white but make the shade really desaturated. not enough to where its just grey, but just enough to where you can still see the color and tell its supposed to be grey
this is not saying how you SHOULD shade im just saying this is how you could shade better
