Repton 3 with a scratch cat mode Scratch cat costumes made by Scratch and edited by me (almost) all scratch mode sprites are from scratch's costume library ------------------------------------------------------------------------- * MOBILE FRIENDLY * Arrow Keys (or WASD) - Move Repton Enter - Pause/Status M - Map (if available) E - Lose a Life R - Restart Level Q - Quit Game On mobile Repton can be controlled by swiping left, right, up or down. Full instructions inside the game. There are 80 levels in total. This is the project I would have liked to make 3 years ago if I'd have known what I was doing!! This is a complete rewrite of my previous Repton engine, allowing for a choice of screen size and sprite graphics, and includes a built-in level designer. The Settings screen gives the choice of graphics quality, and also the option to use the full screen area for the game, or a smaller area with a status display. (Mobile users should not use full screen!) Each sprite set has its own music ;) The Editor takes a bit of getting used to because you only see a quarter of the screen at once, but you can use the navigation keys to scroll around. On touch screens, just touch the screen past the edge to scroll in that direction. Unfortunately Scratch does not support copying the level codes on a mobile (yet) Repton is a puzzle game, and some of the puzzles are complicated to solve. You should use the map to plan your route, as if you make a wrong move you will have to restart the level. Note that not all levels allow the map to be used! There are 10 "scenarios" of 8 levels each. You can start playing any scenario, but they are generally arranged in order of difficulty. When you complete a level you get a diamond icon for that level on the Level Select screen, and the next level becomes available. You can also save and reload your progress from this screen. Note that progress save codes are unique for each user! Alternatively you can make a note of the level passwords. All levels CAN be completed without losing a life. Good luck! (Please note if you Restart a level your score for the game is reset. This is done deliberately) If you have any questions please let me know and I'll try and answer them. I'm really proud of this project. I hope you like it :)
