1. How did you get into coin collecting? I got into coin collection several years ago around covid when I was looking for a hobby. 2. What’s your favorite coin? My favorite coin is my walking liberty half dollar. 3. What’s your rarest coin? I don't know but whatever it is, less than 1 million were made. 4. Do you know what DDO, RPM, and MS mean? I know what DDO and MS but I vaguely know what RPM means. Double Die Obverse, Mint state and Repunched Mint Mark respectively. 5. What’s your oldest coin? My oldest coin is an 1820s coin from Russia 6. What’s your most expensive coin? My most expensive coin is a 1943 Half dollar in PCGS MS 63 7. How long have you been coin collecting? About 5 years or so. 8. Do you coin roll hunt? I coin roll hunt every know and then whenever I can get to the bank. 9. If so, what do you coin roll hunt for? Usually for old wheat cents but I like looking for old nickels and silver half Dollars. 10. What’s your best find coin roll hunting? I once found 1938-s and 1938-d nickels at the same time as well as 2 1949-s nickels. I also found almost an ounce of silver half dollars in 4 or 5 rolls. 11. What coin denomination do you think is the most useless? (1/2¢, 1¢, 2¢, 3¢, 5¢, 10¢, 20¢, 25¢, 50¢, $1, $2.50, $3, $4, $5, $10, $20) The 1/2¢ because inflation has made it worth next to nothing 12. What’s your favorite coin denomination? Probably the half dollar. 13. Do you use coin folders or coin sleeves? (Coin holders are the books, coin sleeves are things you put individual coins in.) I usually use the coin books with the plastic that goes over them so you can see both sides. 14. Do you go to any coin clubs? Unfortunately, no 15. Do you have any foreign coins? (If you’re in the US, canadian coins count.) I have a whole lot of foreign coins. 16. If so, which one is your favorite? I don't know. 17. Wow, this is a lot of questions. Want a break? Sure! 18. Have you ever inherited a collection? No. 19. Are mercury dimes cool? Yeah, they are one of my favorite coin designs. 20. Uhh... are you from Canada? No 21. What’s the oldest coin you’ve found coin roll hunting? I once found a 1917 wheat penny. 22. Do you have any silver coins? I have a whole lot. More than 20 ounces worth. 23. Do you have any gold coins? No. 24. Do you have any V nickels? I have maybe 4 that are very worn and one that is nice (its in my type set) 25. Do you like proof coins? The older proof coins (1970 and earlier) and the older sets (1964 and earlier) 26. What is your opinion on cleaned coins? Very bad idea! Don't do that! 27. Tell me a cool story about your adventures coin collecting. I went to the bank one day a bought some nickel rolls. When I got home, I noticed one of the rolls look very old. I took a closer look and saw that someone wrote 1947-S on the side. I opened up the roll and out came 39 1947-S nickels and 1 1947-D. 28. Was this fun? Yeah, this was very fun to look through the roll and see all of the coins be exactly the same. Thanks for taking the time to do this!
