This is my entry! Backstory: Summer is a poem about a girl named Catherine, whose mother died during birth in the season of summer. Before knowing that her birth was the reason her mother was dead, she lived a happy life in the brightness her mother would never see again. When she learned she "k!lled" her mother, everything changed, and her happiness shattered. She grew to despise summer, despite loving it before. This is her talking about her depression and shame.
