(Circe POV) I was standing in a group of a LOT of people. My name is Circe Bloomington, and I forced to play these games by my creator. I recognized a lot of people here. Digi, who I was standing next to, Byte, who was with my dad’s Mage and Anthony, and Asher, who was standing in between his brothers. I couldn't see the rest of the penthouse crew or anyone else I knew as a matter of fact, but they were probably lost in the crowd. We were all given a number. I was 167. Digi was 023. I wondered if our numbers had any significance in the games. Eh, probably not. A bunch of dudes with pink jackets and black masks on entered the room. Most of them had a white circle painted on their mask, but the one in the middle had a square. he spoke. "Welcome to the Squid Games. You all, all 456 ('That's a whole lot-', I thought) will compete in a series of games. If you lose any games..." He paused "You will be eliminated." The way he said it made my skin crawl, and I knew what elimination really meant. (Unalivement). I clinged onto Digi's arm nervously. He gently patted my back and smiled slightly, feeling a bit comforted.The guard spoke again. "Follow me to your first game." We entered the room they'd come out from and we all headed up in an elevator. How did this elevator even hold 456 people (technically 461 with the guards she supposed)-? They led us up and down colorful stairs in a huge, tall room with pink walls and hundreds more colorful stairs. We finally got outside and we entered some weird sandy area. There was a doll facing a tree at the other side of the sandy place. There was a voice on the speakers. "You have 5 minutes to cross. Move on green light, and stop on red light. If you move on red light and get spotted by the doll, you will be eliminated." Pfft, a child game would be easy. I sighed in relief. If all the games were this easy, I might actually be able to win! The doll turned and said, "Green light!" before beginning to say something in Japanese that I couldn't understand. I let go of Digi and began to run as fast as I could. I went through the first half pretty smoothly, without even tripping once! I was sure that I was safe until someone tripped me just before the doll said red light. Luckily the doll didn't see me fall, and I was safe. I glared at who tripped me. It was V1xx, who was wearing a green vest with the number '168' and had a smug smirk on his face. I gritted my teeth as the doll turned again and sprinted away from him. I could feel him watching me and knew that he wasn't done tormenting yet. I made it to the doll the next time it turned around. I smirked at V1xx, who was still on the other side. He rolled his eyes. Eventually, everyone who was alive made it to the other side. I found Digi, who was on the left side looking for me. I hugged him, smiling. “Thank god you’re alive…” I muttered. He hugged me back and I relaxed in his embrace. Things would be okay… (not)
