Although the picture itself doesn't really show it, It's meant to show the future, and here's why. We already know about wormholes, but what does it have to do with the future? Well, it's meant to show into the future when we have the right technology and all to actually try to venture into one, to both study it and see where it takes someone. The idea I'm representing is where, in the future, we actually discover more things in space than we already knew, for example, a worm hole, like this one. :) Plus I kind of didn't want to focus on machines and all for the theme, 'Futuristic', I wanted to represent it as what we could do with it. :O This in a first person view, so that's why it looks a bit wonky. You're kind of traveling inside it, or what I'm trying to get the feeling for.
