VOLUME WARNING: I SCREAMED INTO MY MIC FOR A LOT OF THE JUMPSCARES IN THIS. Under Construction is a Baldi's Basics inspired "horror" (I say this in quotes because this game is an absolute joke with horror elements tacked on) game I made to both challenge myself to make a fully fledged game in under a week, and to teach one of my friends how to use Scratch. Controls: Arrow keys to move. Gameplay: Collect all seven Creme Brulés, and get to the exit door while surviving entities. Entity Mechanics: Gringusman: He'll appear in a random room and waits until you get to that room before beginning to glide towards you. Once you leave the room he'll go to a different room and repeat this. Just run from him. Blue Gringusman: Every time you go into a room, he'll pick a room in one of four directions to go to. If you go into his room, he'll slowly glide towards you until you leave the room. Just run from him. Yellow Gringusman: Every time you go into a room he has a small chance to appear. If he appears he'll slowly go towards you until you leave the room. You might need to move diagonally to avoid him. GyjBP5mbkAAnCzr: Moving through vertical rooms will give it a chance to spawn. If it spawns, just go back to the previous room quickly. Cuh: Going into a room will give them a chance to spawn. If it spawns, the path they'll take will flash with an alarm three times, and they'll charge through. Just get out of the way. Radiation: He'll spawn in a random room and stay in that room. He doesn't do anything, just dances. Aoeh: During the escape sequence after getting all seven cremes, if the timer reaches 0 before you get to the exit door, it will begin to chase you. It will chase you through every room until you either reach the room with the exit door or die. Be quick when getting to the door. The Bird: The Bird is on a twenty second timer. After those twenty seconds are up, the Bird will spawn. The Bird will lunge towards you after you are far enough away. If you get out of the way in time, the Bird will despawn and the timer will reset. Worm Eater: Five worms will spawn on the map. If you go into a room with a worm, Worm Eater will begin walking towards it. If he eats all five worms, he'll kill you. Touch him to make him go away.
I coded and animated everything myself. I drew/modeled a lot of what appears, but a good amount it is random images I found. All SFX is either from me, my friends, or the Scratch sound library. Music used: Brickbattler - Forsaken UST
